On December 16, 2024, ATW Health Solutions celebrated its 10th anniversary with an inspiring and elegant event held at the historic DuSable Museum of African American History in Chicago, Illinois. Attended by 200 guests, the celebration highlighted a decade of pioneering contributions to healthcare quality and safety, with a special emphasis on advancing health equity and person-centered engagement.
The evening honored ATW’s remarkable leadership team, including Founder, President, and CEO Dr. Knitasha Washington, Dr. Jennie Ward-Robinson, Joseph Gaspero, Antonea Owens, Dr. Gerry Castro, Dr. Brittny Bracher-Rasmus, Desiree Collins-Bradley, and Kellie Goodson along with the dedicated staff whose passion and expertise have driven the organization’s success. Their collective commitment to excellence has positioned ATW Health Solutions as a national leader in healthcare systems transformation.
Distinguished speakers, including Dr. Ronald Wyatt, Dr. Marcus Schabacker, and Dr. Douglas Salvador, shared reflections on ATW’s lasting impact on healthcare quality and safety. The celebration was enriched by congratulatory remarks from prominent dignitaries, including Governor JB Pritzker, Representative Robin Kelly, and Representative Jonathan Jackson. Representative Jackson’s tribute was formally entered into the Congressional Record, ensuring that ATW’s decade of service and leadership will be preserved in the nation’s history. In his remarks, he lauded ATW for amplifying marginalized voices and continuing the legacy of its founder’s late father, Anthony T. Washington, Sr., whose memory inspired the organization’s creation.
