Testimonials
“As my internship with ATW concludes, I wanted to take a moment to express my heartfelt gratitude for the opportunity to be a part of this incredible organization. I am deeply honored to have been selected as a recipient of the ATW Scholarship. This generous support will greatly aid me as I continue my educational journey at Texas Southern University. The mentorship, collaboration, and encouragement I’ve received from the team have been invaluable, and I will carry these lessons with me throughout my career. Thank you for creating a space where interns like myself can thrive, learn, and make meaningful contributions. I’ve grown both personally and professionally during my tenure here, and I’m excited to apply these learnings as I work toward my goals!”
- Caris Guyden, Senior at Texas Southern University, ATW Intern, Summer & Fall 2024
I’m so thankful to have had the opportunity to have worked with such an incredible organization full of so many talented people! Even as a therapist now, I find myself thinking about how health equity and system disparities impact my clients and continue to apply that lens to my work. It has been an honor to support the much-needed work you all do.”
- Joi-Michelle Rhodes, Graduate Student at University of Kentucky, ATW Intern, Summer 2023 - Spring 2024
