Implementation and Evaluation Support for Minority Leaders Development Program Project

ATW Health Solutions managed the development of the Department of Health and Human Services Office of Minority Health (OMH) Minority Leadership Development Program (MLDP) fellowship through the completion of the following activities:

  • Development of literature reviews

  • Program management

  • Curriculum and training development

  • Education and training facilitation

  • Survey distribution

  • Quantitative and qualitative analysis

  • Program evaluation

  • Administrative and technical support

  • Mixed-methods research

  • Health equity and transformation

ATW organized a program where the fellowship worked to increase minority representation in Federal public health leadership roles by placing fellows onsite at various HHS agencies to gain hands-on Federal experience. The MLDP curriculum comprises ten (10) modules that focus on health disparities, health equity, and leadership development. ATW delivered the module sessions to 26 fellows participating in the program in a two-hour live interactive session that fosters cultural learning and collaboration. In addition, ATW developed a comprehensive evaluation plan to evaluate the program’s (module sessions and onsite activities) impact on participating fellows.
