Research & Evidence-Based Approach

Our team is comprised of national experts on the topic of health disparities in communities of all compositions. We are deeply experienced in the development of health care policy with a focus on Minority Health Initiatives and Vulnerable Populations.

Strategic Communications & Market Research

Communication is key to reducing medical harm, eliminating disparities, improving patient safety and overall quality. ATW Health Solutions works at the intersection of patient engagement and community engagement to translate meaningful messaging to communities, patients, people, and caregivers. Our team employs research experts trained in Experience-Based Co-Design and stakeholder engagement. Together our team has used our Engaged Health Center of Excellence (EHCoE) model to understand and solve complex systems concerns. Our EHCoE model has played a vital role in research, learning, outreach, and education. The Center promotes innovation and establishes a fundamental standard within our organizational structure to advance improvements in your patient engagement and community engagement strategies. We do this primarily via research, and education.

Our Center provides a critical research infrastructure missing in the field today; fosters team collaboration; facilitates learning and communication. The system relies heavily upon the inclusion of patients in all our work, performance measurement, and shared resources including systems for data gathering and analysis, instrumentation and computing, and the development of the targeted audience panels to advance learning.

Equity Implementation Education and Training

ATW delivers hospital and health system strategic planning, organizational care process redesign, education, and training using the equity lens to drive equitable improvement. Our work uses a population-health performance improvement framework to identify and reduce disparities. We have managed numerous projects (remote and on-site) delivering strategies that eliminiate disparities and improve outcomes for all people (hospital based and community based). Our implementation scientists and equity practioners are laser focused on partnering with care delivery entities and networks to develop and implement quality and safety plans that drive measureable results in improving equity. We use a Human-Centered Design approach to understand the key constraints unique to each program and create co-designed processes and structures that improve outcomes. Our team can assist in building an equity quality improvement strategy and or its implementation.
